WriteCloud AI is provided by SiteMind AI Labs. The extension helps users improve, correct, rewrite and translate text directly inside supported writing fields in the browser.

2. What data WriteCloud AI processes
WriteCloud AI may process the text that you actively write in a supported text field and choose to improve, correct, rewrite or translate. This can include text from email editors, message boxes, document editors, form fields, text areas or similar writing fields.
The extension also stores basic local settings in your browser, such as whether the extension is enabled, your selected writing mode, your selected translation language and whether the extension is enabled or disabled for a specific website.
3. What WriteCloud AI does not intentionally collect
WriteCloud AI is not designed to collect passwords, payment card numbers, authentication codes, API keys, private tokens or other sensitive credentials. The extension includes filters intended to avoid password fields, code editors, code blocks and technical source-code areas.
4. How your text is used
Text submitted to WriteCloud AI is used only to provide the requested writing function, such as:
- grammar correction,
- normal text improvement,
- professional rewriting,
- sales-oriented rewriting,
- shortening text,
- translation into a selected language.
WriteCloud AI uses the submitted text to generate the result requested by the user. We do not sell your submitted text to advertisers.
5. AI processing and service providers
To provide AI writing assistance, text submitted through WriteCloud AI is sent to our backend service and may be processed through an AI service provider, including OpenAI, for the purpose of generating the requested improvement, correction, rewrite or translation.
The backend is used to securely call the AI provider and return the generated result to the extension.
6. Local browser storage
WriteCloud AI uses Chrome extension storage to remember your local extension settings. These settings may include your selected mode, translation language, minimum character preference, delay preference and site-level enable or disable choices.
These settings are used only to make the extension work according to your preferences.
7. Website access
WriteCloud AI needs access to web pages in order to detect supported writing fields where the user may want writing assistance. The extension is designed to work only with real writing fields and to avoid code editors, source-code views and sensitive credential fields.
Users can enable or disable the extension for specific websites through the extension popup.
8. Data retention
WriteCloud AI is designed to process submitted text for the immediate purpose of generating a response. We do not intentionally use submitted text to build advertising profiles.
Server logs may be temporarily processed for security, debugging, abuse prevention and service reliability. We aim to keep such technical data only as long as reasonably necessary for these operational purposes.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the service. However, no internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should avoid submitting confidential credentials or highly sensitive data through the extension.
10. Children
WriteCloud AI is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the extension, please contact us so we can review the issue.
11. Your choices
You can disable the extension at any time through Chrome extension settings or through the WriteCloud AI popup. You can also uninstall the extension from your browser.
